Pat began working for Northwest Physical Therapy in 2003. He is originally from the Seattle area, and completed his undergraduate degree at WWU where he ran track and cross country. He continues to be passionate about running, both in his spare time on the trails, and in the clinic, coaching his patients. His desire is not just to rehabilitate the current injury, but to counsel patients in form and technique so they can be lifelong runners and prevent further injuries. He is an excellent educator, whether you have goals to attain or return to a high level of function in sports, a physically demanding job, or maximizing function in your daily activities.

When Pat isn’t in the clinic, he is often spending time with his family, or he may be spotted running barefoot on Galbraith Mountain.

Megan began working for Northwest Physical Therapy in 2009, and became President of the company in 2011. She has been a physical therapist for 16 years and has advanced training in orthopaedics and treatment of the spine. She has taught continuing education courses in treatment of the spine/manual therapy and worked as an adjunct in orthopaedics at two different Doctor of Physical Therapy programs.

When she isn’t in the clinic, Megan can be found spending time with her family or friends, camping, paddling, and often running, preferably on a trail in the mountains.

Dan has been with Northwest Physical Therapy for 8 years and is the manager or our Sedro-Woolley office on Cook Road. Dan utilizes a whole body treatment approach based on Gary Gray Functional assessment, and also is able to get results for his patients with his background in the McKenzie Method. Dan is an expert with biomechanics and uses this knowledge to educate his patients, prevent faulty movement patterns, and restore function. He also specializes in treating vestibular dysfunctions and temporomandibular joint dysfunctions (TMJ).

When Dan is not in the clinic, he can be found geocaching with his friends and family, while exploring our local parks and beaches.

Aaron began as a student at Northwest Physical Therapy while in his final clinical rotation during his Doctor of Physical Therapy program at UW in 2016. After graduation, we were so pleased to have him join our team at the Sedro-Woolley clinic as a full-time physical therapist. Aaron embraces the responsibility as a generalist in the field of physical therapy. He is passionate about conservative treatment and rehabilitation for all diagnoses. Ashley is a native Pacific Northwesterner and grew up on San Juan Island.  She left her island home to go to school in McMinnville, Oregon, and then on to Mesa, Arizona, where she completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  After graduation, she lived in Seattle where she completed a two year residency program in orthopaedics  which culminated in a board certified  Orthopaedic Specialty.  Fortunately for NWPT, she left the traffic and busy city to join us at our Sedro-Woolley office following this residency.

When Ashley is not in the clinic, she might be found spending time with her husband, visiting family/friends, outdoors, cooking, traveling, or playing with her cats.

Erin is originally from MI and moved to the Skagit Valley in 2010. She has worked for Northwest Physical Therapy for over a year, and we are happy to have her with our Burlington team. She is currently working towards her NAIOMT certification, a specialization in Manual Therapy. She also has been doing volunteer work with Skagit County Search and Rescue, specifically east county water rescue.

Kim is a native Midwesterner from Ohio.  She moved out to Bellingham after graduating from Physical Therapy school and has settled here with her family.  Kim is an active member of the Bellingham community, and has been practicing here for over 10 years.  She is a great asset to our Bellingham clinic and serves both Men and Women with pelvic health dysfunctions.

A proud Midwesterner at heart, Nicholas started moving west for school and adventure. While practicing in Portland, OR, he specialized in the assessment and treatment of runners and dancers. He is currently pursuing certifications in Manual Therapy and an Orthopedic Specialty. As a life-long learner, Nicholas uses a holistic, patient-centered, evidence-informed approach in empowering people to move without pain, whether that’s 26 grueling miles or a stroll with the dog.

Sean relocated to Western Washington in 2017 and joined the NWPT team. He is fluent in Spanish and effectively communicates with our Hispanic Population in the Skagit Valley. He was able to utilize these skills on a recent service trip to Nicaragua where he collaborated with physicians at the Center for Physical Health and provided services to local schools, nursing homes, and local clinics. We are happy to have his expertise to help serve the Skagit Valley at our Mt. Vernon office. When he is not treating patients, he may be out on the trails hiking, biking, or practicing yoga.

Stacy grew up around Puget Sound where she began her career as a professional snowboarder. While competing and filming locally and internationally, she sustained injuries that introduced her to the physical therapy profession. After 8 years as a professional snowboarder and physical therapist aide she decided to pursue her doctorate of physical therapy. Stacy began working for Northwest Physical Therapy in 2013 at the Mt. Vernon Office and has been a great addition to our team.

Vernon office, and in 2012 he happily joined the Sedro-Woolley crew in his home town. He became interested in physical therapy after tearing his ACL while playing football at Sedro-Woolley High School, and he learned empathy for patients after having to recover from his own sports injuries.

Nate Kipling has worked with NWPT for 9 years. He came to us after completing his bachelor degree and worked several years as a physical therapy aide and helping with company administrative work. He recently finished the physical therapy assistant program and now works with us as a therapist. Nate is a hard worker and always has been, whether he was working summers commercial fishing in Alaska, playing hard on the football field, or working in the clinic, he will now direct those efforts towards helping his patients achieve their goals. When Nate is not in the clinic, he may be competing in some recreational sport, camping, or playing his guitar.

We are happy to have Melanie join our team at the beginning of the 2017/2018 school year to begin our partnership with Sedro-Woolley High School. Melanie will teach two Sports Medicine classes at SWHS and she will cover training room hours and sporting events, GO CUBS! She also offers her services in any of our three clinics when she is not on the field, helping our patients achieve their full potential as well as her students and athletes. Melanie has a history in athletic training at the college level with University of Montana, and Western Carolina University. We are happy to have her now share her expertise in the Skagit Valley. When she is not in the clinic, the classroom, or on the field, Melanie can be found baking, gardening, or hiking/trail running with her dogs…
